SOUTHERN BALD EAGLE
Haliaeetus leucocephalus

Southern Bald Eagles build the biggest nests of any bird in the world. This one is 10' wide X 10" deep.

On a buoy

Second nest

They stick near water.

AMERICAN ALLIGATOR
Alligator mississippiensis

These guys are an amazing success story, too.

They literally swarm the swampy areas now.

This is on about every 20th tree.
